Perfect in the morning to enjoy the very good Salteñas and Empanadas of Santa Clara with fresh fruit juice. Nice patio. Many people at noon. You can also take away. 

Originally from Venezuela, arepa is a corn bread and cachapa is a thick corn cake (therefore gluten-free!). These specialities are filled with meat and/or vegetables and are a delicious, healthy and cheap meal on the go, on the spot or to take away. This new address is a big hit with budget travellers, but not only! You will be warmly welcomed and we will not hesitate to inform you to make your choice. We love it!

In a romantic atmosphere with a baroque-chic decoration of the most beautiful effect, El Solar offers chuquisaqueñas, Spanish(tapas, potato tortilla, paella...) and French specialties. Quality cuisine based on many local and organic products. Their Bolivian adaptation of coq au vin is worth mentioning. The lunch formula is particularly attractive. Pretty café with a very colourful ethnic decoration where you can have breakfast or drink a good fruit juice or espresso made with organic coffee from the Yungas. Great lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert and drink!) with tasty vegetarian dishes made with local organic products including excellent soups, fresh salads and lasagne. Very friendly service. Part of the profits are donated to local communities. Very popular with backpackers. The location also houses the offices of the Condor Trekkers agency

The restaurant at the boutique hotel La Posada is located in a small, pleasant courtyard, away from the noise of the city. This is one of the best places in town foralmuerzo, served with fresh baguette! On the menu is a soup or salad with a choice of 3 main courses and a dessert of the day. A la carte dishes at very reasonable prices considering the elegant setting. They also serve sandwiches, salads and crepes. Warmly recommended for lunch. Fast and attentive service.

Huge room a little cold, but nice patio. Chico kitsch decoration and affordable price. Unfortunately, many clients complain about the service.
