PARAÍSO CAÑO HONDO

This totally ecological hotel is located about ten kilometers from Sabana, on the edge of the national park. The first buildings were painted with natural pigments and vegetable inlays. The owner, a former architect, Plasido, organizes excursions on foot or on horseback in the Haitises Park. The food is simple but good, and the welcome is always friendly. On weekends, the Dominicans often take over the hotel and a frenzied bachata replaces the sound of the breeze in the branches.
