Look no further, the Mountain View Cafe is by far the best possible stopover in the area. From Bonao, you'll have to take a road heading up towards Cabasito, then park in one of the bends in the road. A pretty wooden hut, but above all a spectacular terrace overlooking the whole valley awaits you. Add to that a varied and excellently prepared menu (the meat plate is perfect for carnivores).
