The Mercado Modelo de San Cristobal is a bustling, bustling market full of all kinds of products. This covered market is brimming with a variety of products: tropical fruits, vegetables, clothes, accessories and even CDs to evoke the years when these media were popular. Who knows, you might even discover some songs and melodies unknown in France. Built in the late '50s, this lively, colorful market is modelled on the Mercado Modelo on Santo Domingo's Avenue Mella, although it is not as large as the one in the capital.
