The building, which houses the San Cristóbal Town Hall, was inaugurated in 1937. Easily recognized by the small tower - on top of which sits a clock - flanked by a single-storey building, it was built entirely of reinforced concrete, in a Baroque-Victorian architectural style typical of the early years of the last century. Because of its design and what it represents in Dominican architecture, it has been declared "Cultural Heritage of the Dominican Republic". A building that deserves a quick look.
