It was a Frenchman based in Bayahibe, as friendly as he is sporting and passionate about Mika, who opened the Evasenses agency in 2018. Thanks to his very good knowledge of the region and its inhabitants, he is able to concoct tailor-made private excursions as opposed to mass tourism (which tends to serve in the Dominican Republic) for small groups, combining discovery of the cultural heritage, nature outings, sports activities and culinary tastings: horseback rides in the sugar cane fields (where you can learn the history of sugar cultivation in the French overseas territories), meals in the heart of nature with a Dominican family, kayaking excursions in almost untouched areas of human occupation, diving / snorkelling in submerged caves, boat trips to the islands... All this with the support of Mika's wise comments, who takes care of the safety and well-being of her hosts. Tested and approved!
