Behind the thick wall at number 1 of the place Jules Grévy, Claude Ziouka, ice-cream maker and creator of flavours in Carbet, made an ally with cold. In some flavoured touches, he  transforms water into a delicious sorbet and manioc into a sublime ice cream. In the small space decorated in water-green colours, Claude presents in his chilled window  a whole range of colourful sorbets and ice cream to make your tasebuds go crazy. Here, quality is the priority and local products an obligation. Throughout the year, he fills up small pots,  litres or horns with new flavours. Corossol, guava or mombin, basil, lychee, mango or lemongrass compete with the delicious ice cream with pepper or vegetarian, with those of the pulp giraumon, manioc or barbadine. With its ice cream on the spot or take away, its home delivery or its catering, this glacier is a reference in Carbet.

Armelle, the creator and owner, welcomes you to this pretty boutique adjoining her smoked fish laboratory: unique in Martinique, these fish are caught locally and then cold-smoked with sugar cane bagasse, mahogany sawdust and Guérande salt. Be sure to pay her a visit, she'll be delighted to explain her work. Then leave with one of her famous pieces or slices of tuna or marlin, souskay or smoked rillettes, all homemade!
