For the record, the Savoy cake dates back to 1348, and the recipe comes from Pierre d'Yenne. As for cakes, you'll be able to sink your teeth into old-fashioned pastries like conversation, national (a Savoy cake with almonds) or tomme de Yenne (a meringue with plain buttercream).

A chaque sejour c'est un plaisir de passer et d'acheter un gateau de Savoie ou autre patisserie !
We went in this old pastry while being almost sure to be satisfied, was more. The saleswoman knows what it sells and it takes time to be served, and the channel! It is true that the cake de Savoie is super but do not forget to taste all the fantastic pastries of this hotel. I personally have low for pie nuts but all is good! The biscuits pastries have butter, cracking without being dry, the butter cream is divine, those who like that do not have any never to taste good one in this shop. There is even a funny volume of yenne: a full meringue cream natural butter, know how to do that must be pro! Gift lost in a small village where you will never go if you take the ring road which prevents crossing the village, it is a shame to miss such a pleasure.
