Visit of the archaeology museum in Val-Cenis, to discover the objects of the daily life exposed through a guided tour.
The guided tour lasts about an hour. The time it takes to measure that about 5,600 years ago, in the Neolithic period, the first farmers-breeders of Haute Maurienne settled in the Balmes cave. Discovered in the 1970s, this archaeological site is a reference point for Alpine archaeology. The objects of daily life exposed illustrate the richness of these cultures and a reconstruction of the cave immerses the visitor in the atmosphere of a Neolithic habitat. The exhibits are well lit.
