The Belvédère de La Chambotte offers one of the most beautiful views of the lake and Hautecombe Abbey.
The Belvedere de La Chambotte, perched at 572 m, overlooks Lac du Bourget. To access it, when you are at La Chambotte, when you arrive at the chapel, you have to take the road on the left which goes up to Belvedere. The access is on the left. And this is how you get access to one of the most beautiful views of the Lake and the Abbey of Hautecombe. It is said that Queen Victoria herself visited it in 1887.

Restaurant très prisé donc il est conseillé de réserver en avance. Le cadre très agréable et une vue imprenable sur le lac du Bourget. Les plats sont bons cependant on s'attendait à quelque chose de plus raffinée. Les entrées ainsi que les desserts sont excellents ( nous avons goûté la soupe froide à la menthe et aux petits pois ), les plats principaux moins sophistiqués et le choix dans les menus assez limité.
