Museum located in Mauriac, with vaulted cells with superb paving, and presenting exhibitions of contemporary art.
The museum is housed in the city's former prisons, whose doors and window bars have been preserved. The prison itself was built in 1812 in the former residence of the deans of the Saint-Pierre monastery. The vaulted cells, with their superb paving, are now used as small rooms open in summer to host contemporary art exhibitions. For once, don't hesitate to push open the dungeon door!
