Expérience en demi-teinte.
On est en droit d'espérer plus de rigueur dans un établissement étoilé.
Personne à l'accueil lorsque nous sommes entrés... Après environ 2 minutes, l'employé est venu mais ne retrouvait pas notre réservation...
Une fois installés à table, flottement dans la mise en place du service. Le maître d'hôtel (ou ce qui en tenait lieu) était particulièrement inefficace. A part un serveur qui faisait son possible et qui le faisait plutôt bien, les deux autres (stagiaires ?) étaient quelque peu dépassés et ne parlaient français qu'approximativement...
Nous avons pris le menu en 9 services et voulions prendre l'accord mets-vins, mais en voyant se "débattre" le sommelier, nous avons renoncé.
Dans l'ensemble, les plats étaient très bons, avec mention spéciale pour le "canevas de courgettes, jus de truffe blanche et anchois d'eau douce".
En revanche, grosse déception avec la panade de brochet, sans relief et la canette rôtie qui manquait de moelleux et de tendreté.
Pour terminer, 2 excellents desserts.
Le chef Darmanin a du talent. Avec quelques réglages en cuisine et surtout au service, il pourra faire valoir pleinement son étoile.

Somewhat surprised at the sparseness of the room that certainly did not match other 5 star hotels that we have stayed at . Comfortable furniture not available but the bed was perfect and other appointments to the room including the bathroom and toilet were surprisingly sparse.(we are greatly surprised by toilets that open directly onto an occupied space and completely lack even a rudimentary air extractor system )However ,some qualification may be needed; as this was primarily a handicapped accessible room.
The fact remains that those confined to a wheelchair are entitled to significant luxury given the classification and the price.
The restaurant was justifiably a Michelin one star Restarant and service superb.
