Refuge with a view from the ridge on the Pointe d'Ambin in Aussois.

Perched at an altitude of 2,350 meters, the Refuge de la Fédération française des Clubs alpins et de montagne du Fond d'Aussois offers panoramic views from the ridge, embracing the Pointe d'Ambin and the Aiguille de la Scolette. To get there in summer, simply take the departure from Plan d'Amont. During the spring ski season, access to the refuge is possible from the top of the Aussois resort lifts (with a hiker's pass). Its recent architectural design, characterized by a rounded roof, is easily identifiable.
