In the heart of the Mont Brouilly vineyard, in the village of Odenas, the Fête du Paradis celebrates from noon to midnight the release of this sweet, ruddy juice: the Paradis, to be tasted with moderation, which has just hatched from the fermented grapes. We witness the pressing of the grapes in the old way. On this occasion, the winegrowers take out their old presses and, dressed as in the past, get to work pressing the bunches of grapes contained in large vats. Brass bands, folklore groups, barrel organs, acrobats and other entertainments add to the atmosphere of this open-air festival that brings the harvest season to a close.
