Established in 2022 on Cours Jovin Bouchard, Edgar is a young enthusiast who has perfectly transmitted his philosophy to his business: wine is synonymous with emotion, and each bottle tells a story. Nearly 400 references are on offer, including a selection from small winemakers who produce natural wines. You can buy the vintage of your choice... or taste it on the spot! All accompanied by boards of Torrilhon charcuterie and Perrin cheeses. Please note that the premises can be privatized.

The name is a bit technical: a cempote is a barrel with a capacity of about 104 litres. The same one that can be found on the sign of the establishment! In Châteaucreux, the Cempote is above all two areas: on one side a well-stocked wine and spirits cellar with more than 700 references chosen by the sommelier Alex Liotard, and on the other a cheese bar with a selection of French cheese, local cochonnaille and black pork from Bigorre, seafood, and some salads also served at lunchtime. And you can combine the two: choose your bottle directly from the cellar to accompany your cheese board and enjoy them with or without friends!

Jean-Jacques Maleysson was not intended for the wine industry. After working in university administration, he trained as an oenologist in Beaune and began trading wines out of passion. He will give you all the advice you need to buy the best wines according to the consumption you want to make. It has a wide range from all the vineyards of France: more than 300 references among wines of winegrowers, champagnes and spirits that you will sometimes find nowhere else in Saint-Étienne. So, remember to visit him in the rue François-Gillet, a little off the beaten track, which is sometimes forgotten. The address is worth a visit!

Already present at Les Halles Mazérat, Marcon opened its cellar at the end of 2022 along the A72 motorway in Saint-Etienne. This is the seventh store for the Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid-based company, following those in Le Puy-en-Velay and Paris, among others. The cellar offers over a thousand references of meticulously selected wines. You'll also find spirits and champagnes. The 350 m² establishment features a wine bar, ideal for wine tastings accompanied by a board, as well as a delicatessen featuring local products.
