For local musicians, the Conservatoire Massenet is a real opportunity to consolidate their musical foundations, whether in music theory or instrumental practice. With a wide-ranging educational mission aimed at a variety of audiences, the Conservatoire reaches out to almost 1,500 students every year, under the aegis of 90 teachers! Over the last few decades, the Conservatoire has diversified its offerings. Studies take place in four cycles, starting with initial instruction at the age of 7 or 8, and culminating for the most gifted with advanced vocational training, which opens the way to a professional career.

This large music school invites young and old to discover and practice an instrument. Made up of professionals and volunteers, the association organizes workshops for the very young and sets up a learning system that enables everyone to learn to play an instrument and read sheet music. Whether group or individual, the courses offered are led by music professionals and are adapted to each individual's level.
