AVATARIUM

A veritable warrior among the various festivals in Saint-Etienne, Avatarium has existed for 18 years. Traditionally organized in May, on the site of the Mine Museum, which offers a majestic and emblematic decor in this eclectic programming, the festival concentrates concerts, projections, dance, theatre, performances and debates in a free and curious spirit, leaving its entire place to experimentation and avant-garde. Choosing a guideline every year - "Up", "Transmission", "Working Class Heroes", "Utopian"… - the festival is often the occasion of beautiful surprises or discoveries, real questioning.
