MÉDIATHÈQUE MUNICIPALE
The Espace Culturel La Buire media library is part of the Itinérances network of Pays du Gier media libraries. Once you've registered with your local media library, you can borrow documents from any of the network's 17 facilities. To register, all you need is your identity card and proof of address (€10 for an adult card, free for children under 18). Novels, documentaries, albums, comics, as well as CDs and DVDs, the catalog is extensive and there are many authors to discover. The media library is also a place for sharing and discovery, with a wide range of events including story times, book clubs, cabaret readings, concerts and exhibitions. In this place dedicated to culture, you'll also find a multimedia area with computers and Internet access. The La Buire cultural center also offers a season of theater, puppet shows, music, dance and circus performances for all ages, in a 400-seat auditorium.
