Castle overlooking Uriage-les-Bains, cradle of one of the branches of the Alleman family from Dauphiné, to be observed from the outside.

The château overlooking Uriage-les-Bains cannot be visited, only admired. The birthplace of one of the branches of the illustrious Alleman family from the Dauphiné region, during the Second World War it was home to the École de formation des cadres, which was to become a place of resistance to the Vichy regime. A must-read Les Hommes d'Uriage by Pierre Bitoun. This highly interesting book on the Uriage Management School was a national success when it came out in 1988.
