The Saint-Hilaire funicular is a tourist attraction, linking the Grésivaudan valley and the Plateau des Petites Roches.
Closed for years due to bad weather, it is due to reopen this year! Explore the Chartreuse aboard the Funiculaire de Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet, one of the oldest tourist railroads in the Alps, inaugurated in 1924. Its original purpose was to transport materials for the construction of the health resorts on the Plateau des Petites Roches, linking Lumbin and Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet. impréssionnant! a vous couper le souffle proche de de grenoble direction chambéry.ce funiculaire part de la vallée pour arriver sur le plateau des petites roches.point de départ de nombreuses randonnées.on domine la vallée de lisere vue magnifique sur les massifs.parking aisé.fermé en hiver parait il ?
