The building itself is emblematic of the resort, as this former French Alpine Club refuge was the very first guarded refuge in France in 1911. Completely refurbished, it features a beautiful reception and exhibition area, where visitors can discover different facets of the Belledonne environment. An educational trail starts at the Maison. Easily accessible from the Metropole, benefiting from good snow conditions (natural and artificial if necessary), Chamrousse has a domain for all skiers. 43 skiable slopes spread over 3 poles: Roche Béranger, at the origin of the resort, Recoin where the Croix gondola lift and many chairlifts are located, and Village du Bachat, ideal for beginners Not to be missed: the night skiing sessions on Thursdays during school vacations and on Saturdays to ski in a magical atmosphere.
