Petit Futé's opinion on PASTILLE VICHY
History: Who doesn't know the Vichy pastille? The famous candy, octagonal and white like chalk, takes its name from the city of the same name, located in the heart of Auvergne. Since 1973, it has been made from the waters of the spa with recognized therapeutic properties. High in mineral salts, Vichy pastille combines the virtues and pleasures of natural aromas of mint, anise or lemon. The Vichy pastille, not to be confused with the pastille of the Vichy basin, is a brand distributed by the Carambar & Co group which includes eleven other legendary brands, such as Poulain, Carambar, Kréma or Suchard...
Advantages: The factory outlet sells all products of the "Vichy Pastilles" brand in different containers: cases, bulk bags or metal cans. The prices are really interesting and the price per kilo goes down to around 8 euros depending on the packaging.
Most: From April to mid-November, it is possible to visit the plant free of charge.
