GAEC LA FERME DE LORETTE
A farm that still produces its cheeses from its herd that it takes to transhumance during summer months (June to September) on the beautiful pastures of Beauregard's plateau. With Mont Blanc in the background! A 200-year-old Alpine chalet that welcomes visitors with simplicity. In Glapigny, the restored old farmhouse consists of a barn, a «chèvrerie» and a cheese factory. Beaufort, alpine tomme, tomme from Beauregard, chevrotin of the Aravis and a specialty created by the Lorette Farm: The Mountain Corner! As a triangle reminiscent of the top of the Alps, it is creamy, rustic, and distinguishes itself by a taste pronounced in mouth. Guided tours include the whole process of cheese manufacturing, the presentation of the farm (with the milking of cows) and the treatment of milk until the refining. The visit is completed by a tasting. The Lorette Farm belongs to the Savoie Cheese Routes network! The production can be purchased directly in the new shop, all glass, at the exit of Thônes on the road to Annecy.

Après un passage à l'office du tourisme, on apprend que la réservation doit se faire directement par téléphone auprès de la ferme. On appelle, pas de réponse... on envoie un SMS, pas de réponse, donc nous décidons de monter car l'heure approche (quasi 30€ de télécabine).
Et une fois sur place, on apprend que c'est "complet" et qu'on refuse du monde depuis la veille par téléphone car déjà 31 inscrits pour 25 à 30 places dispos.
Sauf que, visiblement, les clients qui nous précédaient au comptoir ont su être plus persuasifs que nous (et surtout tres insistants)... on les accepte avec 1 adulte et 3 enfants, donc 35 personnes pour la visite! Et nous? "Vraiment impossible"...
Résultat pour nous, un enfant qui se faisait une joie de faire cette visite déçu...
Un vrai gros manque de communication l'heure où tout est tellement efficace, notamment par les réseaux sociaux...
Communiquer avec l'office du tourisme aussi?? Un message sur le répondeur?
Ou la création d'un autre groupe de visite si la demande est forte, ce qui a visiblement l'air d'être le cas????
Nous avions prévu de profiter de notre visite pour acheter du fromage, et bien nous choisirons une autre adresse! Dommage...
Après bien 1h a tourner et a appeler on ne sait toujours pas comment arriver à cette ferme qui est sûrement superbe je n'en doute pas. Mauvaise communication, mauvaises indications, la ferme est quelque part dans la région mais où ?????

Avant la visite, nous avons pris une planche apéritive (généreuse ????) avec Tomme fermière, Tomme de Beauregard (excellente !) et saucisson de Savoie. Accompagné d’un vin de Savoie et d’un paysage somptueux, tout était parfait ! ????
