Maurice Passet naturally chooses the best products - his spice bread is based on mountain honey - but above all, during the traditional holidays, this renowned bakery baked by the Thons valley makes for the occasion: rare Savoyard brioches in the saffron, head for Saint-Maurice, curved loops and anised for Rameals, paste bugnys lifted to orange flower scent for carnival. Its permanent specialties: Savoie cake, Saint-Genix's brioche, rissoles or r-shirts - slippers filled with fruit, cut or compote - and the famous bescorner, a bread, safrané and coated with anis, shaped as a crown or heart.
