An association of volunteers who share their passion for the country of Thônes. The permanent exhibition in the model room of the Espace Muséal retraces the life of the Val de Thônes. Thanks to a set of large animated models, we are immersed in the traditional local activities of the 19th century. From the making of flour to the baking of bread, from working at the sawmill to the daily life of the house, we discover a baptism in the Villaret chapel and the reconstruction of the tram circulating in Thônes. The local history, staged, is unique in Haute-Savoie. The video of Marie, the last spinning wheel spinner, trying to pass on her know-how is particularly touching.
