LA SAMBUY
A friendly, family-friendly, natural, dynamic, human-sized and reasonably priced resort. 10 min. from Faverges and 40 min. from Annecy, the ski area varies from 1 150 to 1 830 m: 10 runs, 1 chairlift and 3 ski lifts. There are 10 runs, 1 chair lift and 3 ski lifts. You can practice downhill skiing but also paret downhill, snowscoot, speed-riding, and nordic skiing in the Tamié valley. The 4 Slide toboggan run (600 m) on rails - secured - plays with the natural relief through the forest, in all seasons. In summer, you can reach the Col de la Petite Sambuy by the chairlift - pedestrians and mountain bikes - which leads to the La Bouchasse mountain pasture chalet and the botanical trail. Paragliding enthusiasts will have the choice between two launch sites: the top of the chairlift or the Col de la Sambuy. In good weather, the panorama is superb towards Lake Annecy and the Mont-Blanc massif!
