Forest integrated in the Regional Natural Park of Bauges which is located in Annecy.

Between 500 and 1,660 m in altitude, the Semnoz forests are among the green lungs of Annecy. A natural area, this forest is part of the Bauges Regional Nature Park and is open to all: walkers, hikers, mountain bikers, skiers and climbers. In summer, the mountain pastures delight hikers. In winter, it is a meeting place for snowshoe hikers, but also for Nordic and Alpine skiers thanks to the Semnoz ski resort. Visit possible with a forest ranger of the ONF.

Très bel endroit, en contact permanent avec la nature et de très beaux points de vue, avec un en particulier sur le lac. De belles balades à faire en famille à vélo ou à pied.

L'hiver, le Semnoz est une agréable station familiale. Skieurs, promeneurs, flâneurs s'y retrouvent pour se ressourcer face au majestueux Mont-Blanc.

Cette forêt a 2 avantages indéniables: la proximité, à 10 minutes du château et 3 de la Visitation. Vous entrerez alors dans la forêt de la grande Jeanne, et en empruntant par exemple le chemin du périmètre, retour par celui des crêtes, vous pourrez en 2 / 3 h (selon votre rythme) bénéficier de superbes panoramas: c'est le 2ème avantage. Le tout très bien fléché, accessible à toute la famille.
