Annecy has gardens with an Ecojardin label and natural spaces that have become vegetable gardens, with flowery walks.
In 2015, the national jury of Villes et Villages fleuris awarded the "Four Flowers" label to Annecy, which has held it since 1967. It also renewed the prestigious "Fleur d'Or" in 2021 (the most prestigious of labels, which can only be awarded to 9 towns, and only once every 6 years)! Annecy has also been awarded the Écojardin label for three of its gardens: Jardin en ville Solidarité and Jardin en ville Fins, two shared vegetable gardens, and Jardin du Manoir de Novel.
As anyone who lives in Annecy will tell you, the city is far from lacking in green spaces that invite you to stroll and relax at any time. Places of peace and quiet, full of flowers, maintained by municipal services who keep them clean and tidy. In fact, it's hard to walk 50 m without encountering a garbage can! Le Pâquier, the Jardins de l'Europe, the Parc de l'Impérial, the Square Verdun, the lakeside quays... the choice is hard and varied to find a place to rest! We'll soon discover that, as the seasons change, each area has its own charm: the shade of majestic trees, the gurgling of a fountain, the siren of boats, the chirping of birds, the Pâquier and its many summer events... As for flowers, the town can be proud of the way it pampers this superb living environment. Flowers fill the basins and flowerbeds in the vast lawns, all year round. Bravo and thank you to the municipal artists, who are bursting with imagination!

Francilienne, je me mets à la place des habitants souhaitant venir faire leurs achats en centre ville.
Comment pensez-vous amener des clients dans un centre ville où l'on ne peut se stationner pour faire vivre les commerçants ??
Je plains profondément les commerçants qui survivent, les pauvres....jusqu'à quand je vous le demande ??
Nous allons passer à Annecy justement début février prochain, nous nous demandons de ce fait comment nous, vacanciers, pouvons accéder et se garer en centre ville, avec une mobilité réduite pour moi !
Que sont ces politiques de politiciens dans leur tour d'argent qui ne pensent ni à la vie commercante d'un cœur de ville, ni aux personnes à mobilité réduite, ni aux clients avec tous leurs paquets en période de fête par exemple ou même seulement aux personnes seniors ??
Je le dis et le répète c'est vraiment du n'importe quoi !
Toutes ces têtes "pensantes" qui ne réfléchissent plus depuis déjà quelques années... C'est épouvantable !
