Enjoy homemade cuisine in a restaurant in the heart of Annecy's old town.

The only restaurant in the old town that lives up to its name. For 6 years now, in the heart of Old Annecy, L'Authentic hasn't cheated. The dining room is open-plan, with a veranda on the first floor offering a breathtaking view of the Thiou canal. Traditional home cooking using quality produce, starting with the butcher's cuts: Charolais beef tartare à la minute, a delicious burger, but also a calf's head. Savoyard specialties and a poached pear with tonka bean chantilly to finish. Genuinely smart.

Nous étions deux. Nous avons pris une fondue. Très très bonne fondue, en revanche il n'y en avait pas assez pour deux personnes pour 25 € la fondue !! Lorsque nous sommes repartis nous avions encore faim. C'est dommage car la fondue était vraiment une tuerie !

Nous avons décidé de jeter notre dévolu sur une fondue savoyarde. Elle fût excellente……NÉANMOINS, la portion pour deux personnes était presque ridicule. C’est dommage car comme je dis, c’était une fondue de qualité.
Donc, si vous avez faim de fondue, je ne conseille pas cet établissement.

Nous avons eu le plaisir de dîner en amoureux en dégustant des spécialités ???? Une escalope savoyarde et demi reblochon avec charcuterie, c’était bon ! Le service était rapide et sympathique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les prix ronds de la carte ! Nous avons eu la joie de dîner en ayant la vue sur l’eau à l’étage, c’était très agréable ????
