Le Grand Massif is a ski area in the Haute-Savoie region of France. It comprises five ski resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz d'Arâches, Morillon, Samoëns 1600 and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. With 139 runs and 62 lifts, there's something for every level of skier. Ski enthusiasts can enjoy 25 green runs, 59 blue runs, 44 red runs and 11 black runs. The ski area extends over 40,000 hectares of forest, offering an unspoilt environment and an exceptional panorama of the Mont-Blanc chain. Le Grand Massif is easily accessible, located halfway between Chamonix and Geneva. Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy this ski area of character and contrasts, which also offers a wide range of off-piste activities.
