Linking Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt, the Grand Massif ski area extends to an altitude of 2,500 meters with 139 trails and 62 lifts. Skiers will enjoy the pristine spaces of the Combe du Gers and landscape lovers will enjoy the mythical blue run of the Cascades. The Grand Massif offers a wide range of skiing, downhill and cross-country skiing, and many other activities: dog sledding, snowshoeing or walking, snowmobiling, cinema, skating rink, bowling, cultural center, shows and events...

A highly professional paragliding school caters for beginners and experienced paragliders alike, offering courses to suit all levels. A warm welcome awaits you. During the winter season, the school also offers speed riding courses for experienced skiers. The guide office offers a wide range of other activities, including snowshoe trekking, ruisseling, ski touring, heli-skiing, ice climbing, caving, canyoning and more.

In the heart of the Giffre Valley, starting from the typical village of Samoëns, come and exceed your limits and face the sublime summits of the Haut-Giffre. The UTHG is the sporting event of the year not to be missed in the valley. If the ultra-trail is primarily aimed at great sportsmen with a good experience of the mountain (here, 127 km and 9 150 m of difference in altitude), the UTHG is also open to beginners with a 9 km course, allowing to discover the activity and its exceptional atmosphere.

The Col de Joux Plane, well known to cyclists, is transformed into a Nordic domain once the snow has fallen. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Giffre valley and the famous Mont-Blanc. For beginners or the most experienced, the domain offers 7 groomed trails, from green to red. A pedestrian and marked itinerary also allows beautiful walks, feet or snowshoes in the powder. The youngest will enjoy their exploits on the sledging track.

Formerly known as Airone Parapente, Erwan Didriche's qualified team continues to make you fly like a bird over the sublime Giffre Valley. Let the wind carry you and admire the landscape! Flights from 20 to 60 minutes, for the most passionate, in the hands of an experienced team. Take advantage of the training courses and improvement courses over several days, to acquire your autonomy in flight. Introductory courses, thermal flights, cross country flights... there is something for everyone and every level. Go for it!

Stretch your legs and enjoy the view without too much effort. La Bourgeoise, the summit above Samoëns, is a family-friendly walk offering an exceptional 360° panorama. From the Col de Joux Plane, where the surrounding peaks are reflected in its lake and the view is already magical, follow a signposted path to the Chalets de Mapellet to reach the summit. Up there, the entire Giffre valley and its mountains come into view. Le Criou, Pointe Rousse, Tête de Bostant... A trail that can also be explored on snowshoes in winter.
