Sport is all year round: whether it is raining, selling or snowing! If in summer the mountains of Haute-Savoie lend themselves particularly well to hiking, the winter is the best ski. Welcome to the Upper Giffre valley, where we offer you a cross-country ski exit! Between 690 and 1 770 metres of altitude, the tracks of Horseshoe, Joux-Plane or the valley offer you great possibilities for riding. In total, these are 17 green, blue and red itineraries, marked and traced in classical style or skating. The best way to attract budding skiers as well as the most experienced skiers!

Tariff: from 8 € per day per adult; 4 € per child (6-16 years).

Distance: from 0,5 to 8 km.

Difficulty: very easy (green) to difficult (red).

The RASSEMBLEMENT NATIONAL CHEMINOT, organized by the GNMC (Groupement National Motocycliste Cheminot), is a must-attend event for motorcycle enthusiasts and railway workers. 1600 MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL

Musical event

the 1600 Mountain Festival has been in Samoëns since 2022. Initially set up on the Samoëns plateau at an altitude of 1,600 metres, the festival has since moved down to the village, on the Lac aux Dames site, in 2024. The concept? Open-air electronic music, with headliners including The Avener for the first edition and Joachim Garraud and Sara Costa for the third. A friendly atmosphere in a magnificent setting at the foot of the snow-capped peaks. A musical event that attracts a diverse audience.
