Charming house with Savoyard character offering refined rooms.

A charming house with a Savoyard character and a very British patina! Tastefully renovated by the owner of English origin, the main building flanked by a barn and outbuildings has kept its roof covered with local stone. One falls under the charm of the luxurious farmhouse and its eleven refined bedrooms. On the dinner table is a small banquet savoured by candlelight. Breakfast is served in the room with large bay windows opening onto the garden. Perfect for discovering the region or celebrating an event.

Closed in May and from October to November. 11 rooms. Double room €. Half-board: €206 (to €350). Breakfast included. Transfer to Morzine, breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner included. Single room only in summer. Receptions and weddings. Wifi free of charge. Catering (table d'hôtes: €60 wine included, possibility of privatizing the dining room or the entire house. Restaurant open to resident guests only).

Owner's Message

A warm welcome at the farm. Known locally as Mas de la Coutettaz, La Ferme, built in 1771 is the oldest building in Morzine, and was originally owned by the prominent Baud family.

It has been our greatest pleasure to welcome, once again, the many families and friends during this period. All of whom have contributed to developing and maintaining the wonderful atmosphere that underlies the personality of La Ferme.

Fabulous stay on the occasion of our son's wedding. The team were amazing and everything was managed seamlessly. It was a wonderful day with great food and beautiful accommodation.

The warmest of welcomes from James and his team; exceptional personal service, outstanding food and supremely comfortable rooms. Probably the best shower I have had anywhere! This is a tiny "boutique" hotel, as different from the tourist chains as one can imagine. We can't recommend The Farmhouse too highly if you are looking for an exceptional place to stay in Morzine.

A unique experience. The standout highlight is the service that the entire team give from the moment you arrive. James, Sam, Mark, Duncan there is nothing the team won’t do to make your stay easy. Sorting your skis, running you to lifts or town. Food and drink and ambience are great. Look forward to the next time.

My third stay, but the first for seven long years. Has anything changed? No, thank heavens. It's as blissful as ever, with the old team and the new caring for their guests with absolute perfection. I've tried, but cannot think of a single criticism. Well, I suppose my shower in lovely Mazot was a bit dark. Did I care? Of course not.
