Paysalp and the farmers of Mieussy have joined forces to design this cheese dairy, which is open to the public. The dairy produces the delicious Reblochon PDO and Tomme de Savoie PGI cheeses. It is part of the "Itinéraires des fromages de Savoie" network. Following a fire in 2023, the cheese dairy now offers its products in a temporary bungalow opposite the old fruitière. You can still enjoy "Tomme de Mieussy". It is currently impossible to visit the workshop.

Between Mieussy and Taninges, take the narrow road along the Giffre to discover an original farm, l'Escargotière d'Arno. Arnaud Deransy has an unusual herd of horned animals: snails! You can visit the farm in summer (book at the tourist office), and above all taste and buy delicious products made with the famous snails in the on-site workshop. Escargots "à la bourguignonne" in shell or cRoquille, flavored Apéri'croq and Escapéro, not forgetting Escargotine for spreading on toast.

In the charming village of Mieussy, L'ESCARGOTIÈRE D'ARNO invites you to plunge into the fascinating world of snails. During an hour-and-a-half-long gourmet tour, you can watch an educational film to learn all about these gastropods, take part in a fun and instructive activity with the heliciculturist and visit the breeding pens.
