HUMPBACK GLACIER
The highest ice fall of the Alps which is located in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc where you can take a chairlift.
The Bossons glacier, which descends as close as possible to the village, can be seen from the road leading to Chamonix. It's the highest icefall in the Alps. A mythical route that Jacques Balmat and Doctor Paccard took in 1786 for the first ascent of Mont Blanc. You can get as close as possible via the glacier des Bossons chairlift or by following the hiking trail, which takes around an hour to reach a lovely viewpoint. An accessible walk to contemplate the seracs and this impressive icefall.
