Three hundred meters from the Montenvers station, this hotel with its modern-style facade was completely renovated in 2014. It will be extended with 27 new rooms in 2020. Created in the 1970s by the descendants of Isabella Straton, nicknamed The Lady, one of the few women mountaineers to have climbed the peaks of the Alps and Pyrenees in the 19th century, the hotel pays tribute to this mountaineering heroine - English by birth, she married Chamonix guide Jean Charlet and made her first ascent of Mont Blanc in 1876. The new owners, Scandinavians, brought her story back to life. They named the hotel after her, created a logo featuring her image and decorated the bar with her ice axe and shoes. A successful renovation with a chic mountain feel: comfortable rooms (two suites with saunas) and a trendy brasserie bar, the Bistro, offering a wide range of vegetarian dishes. A charming address with an international flair.

Cependant pas du tout insonorisée vraiment insupportable je parle très mal anglais mais j’ai compris toutes les conversations de la chambre voisine !! Sans parler des services de chambres dans les couloirs !! La chambre résonnais terriblement en plus . Vraiment dommage car tout le reste est top
Le service, le cadre, l’emplacement , le bar et les petits déjeuners
Parking compliqué pour les voitures très étriqué et peu de place mais cela a bien dépanné
