Hotel located in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc with a starred and gastronomic restaurant.
The Hameau Albert Ier hotel, with its starred restaurant, takes us to the stars. Its renovated farmhouses and two independent chalets make it a luxury destination. We are amazed at the efforts of the Carrier family, historical custodians of the establishment, to transform the modest Chemin de Fer pension into a refined hamlet. The 21 rooms in the main house are designed with contemporary flair. Lovers of old wood and evenings by the fire will be delighted by one of the 16 alpine farms in the hamlet.

The second time staying here. It’s a magical experience. This second time we stayed around 11 days.
You feel like you’re transported to a cozy world and you don’t have to leave to get everything you need for a long stay. Their Michelin starred restaurant downstairs is incredible - it’s a shame that it’s not two stars!!! Then there is their Maison Carrier restaurant which is casual, traditional dining. Oh my gosh - we wanted to go every night. You just book in advance! The morning breakfast is another phenomenal memory. I love how everything, even jams and configure and spreads are made in house! L
Anyways. what I love about this five star hotel, is that it’s luxurious, but discreet,. It’s not bling bling and pretentious. Everything is refined, classy, and you can think of it as staying at an elevated five star, secluded wooden cabin. There is a pool and spa where we got treatments, their car takes y97 and picks you up to ski… absolutely wonderful! Well done. Thank you for the memorable birthday memory.

Le personnel de l'hôtel est incroyablement gentil et attentionné, offrant un service de première classe du début à la fin de notre séjour. Mention spéciale pour le sommelier, qui était professionnel, compétent et très sympathique. Les recommandations de vins ont ajouté une dimension supplémentaire au repas, faisant de chaque moment passé au restaurant une expérience unique.
Les plats servis au restaurant étaient délicieux, préparés avec des ingrédients frais et de qualité. La présentation des plats était soignée, mettant en valeur les saveurs et les textures des ingrédients. J'ai été impressionné par la créativité et la maîtrise culinaire du chef et son équipe, offrant une expérience gastronomique mémorable.
Outre la cuisine, l'hôtel lui-même est magnifique, avec un charme alpin authentique et une atmosphère chaleureuse. L'emplacement au cœur de Chamonix offre une vue imprenable sur les montagnes environnantes, ajoutant une touche de magie à l'ensemble. Excellent repas, délicat et raffiné.
L'ambiance très cosy en adéquation parfaite avec le décors montagnard extérieur. Les couverts de grande qualité, un service parfait sans en faire trop.
Absolument rien à redire, tout est parfait.
Un grand merci au chef et sa brigade pour ce repas parfait tout en découverte et ce moment de détente.
