Historic hotel in Chamonix with decorated and equipped rooms.
A historical hotel in Chamonix, completely renovated in 2004. From the location, in the main street and overlooking the Arve, to the arrangement of the suites with antique woodwork, noble materials and marble bathrooms, passing through the view of Mont Blanc and the Brévent, it is luxury in pure condition. The "Honeymoon" room on the top floor, decorated with old wood and covered beams like alpine meadows, or a suite with 50 m 2 "Old Tower"… with a whirlpool at the foot of the bed… the Grand Hôtel des Alpes is not usurping its title. The lounge, the bar, the indoor swimming pool and the wellness area add to the charm of the place and compensate for the absence of a garden. The place is magical, although reserved for the garnis purse.

Le Grand Hôtel des Alpes est tout simplement exceptionnel. L’alliance du charme historique et du confort moderne crée une atmosphère chaleureuse et élégante. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme remarquables – on se sent accueilli avec soin dès la première minute. Notre chambre offrait une vue splendide sur le Mont-Blanc et était décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Mention spéciale pour l’espace bien-être, parfait pour se détendre après une journée en montagne. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, varié et très complet. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter – un véritable bijou à Chamonix !”
