Chambre malheureusement vieillissante ( l’état des fenêtres ). Peu d’espace dans la chambre non climatisée, mais assez confortable. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment excellent. Aucune aération à la réception, la température était vraiment pénible.

En découvrant l’hôtel pour la première fois je commence par une déception dans la mesure où en appelant la réception, on m’indique que le tarif trouvé en ligne par une agence de voyage ne peut pas être proposé directement par l’hôtel.
À notre arrivée, le personnel est très accueillant, tout comme l’équipe qui sert le petit déjeuner. Buffet agréable avec des produits de qualité.
Au niveau des chambres, elles sont un petit peu vieillottes avec par exemple des fenêtres abîmées et un peu hors du temps, et surtout pas de climatisation en été.
Sinon, l’ensemble est confortable, mais n’est justifie peut-être pas pleinement ses quatre étoiles.
Au tarif de la chambre, il faut ajouter entre 20 et 25 euros par jour pour pouvoir garer son véhicule.

We stayed here after my boyfriend became ill on the TMB. The room, staff, and location were amazing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was right in the town and also close to the bus station. The room was spacious with a balcony where we could dry our wet shoes. Everything about it was amazing and we felt so lucky to have found it! Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. Rooms could use more fans for hot summer days.

Hotel mit Spitzenlage in Chamonix...

Adepte des petits déjeuners d’hôtel, nous nous sommes laissés tenter par celui du Morgan. Celui ci est accessible même sans être clients de l’hôtel avec une formule buffet à 19€/pers ce qui le rend particulièrement attrayant.
Nous avons été accueilli par le responsable qui s’est trouvé être extrêmement sympathique et chaleureux. Ce dernier nous a expliqué de manière très claire le fonctionnement du buffet et ce qui est inclus dans la formule.
L’équipe entière a été souriante et avenante afin que nous passions le meilleur moment possible ce matin là.
Le responsable est revenu plusieurs fois nous demander si nous avions besoin de quelque chose ou si tout allait bien, ce qui a été fort agréable, nous nous sommes sentis chouchoutés. Beaucoup de produits sont préparés dans l’hôtel dont le muesli, une note particulière pour les roses des sables au chocolat, exquises.
Un petit déjeuner complet afin d’entamer une journée de randonnée dans la bonne humeur ???? merci à vous et à très vite !

Fantastic location, ultra close to the city-center as well as the river. The room was clean with a good setup. The balcony on the 5th floor has just a gob-smacking view on the Mont-Blanc as well as the Brevents.

위치도 좋고, 스파 시설도 객실요금에 포함이어서 잘 즐기고 왔어요. 스파가 저녁 8시까지라고 되어 있어서 7시 넘어서 부랴부랴 갔거든요.
핸드폰이 없어서 시간을 잘 모르고 즐기고 있는데 8시가 넘은거 같아서 확인해보니 직원분이 마감하러 오셨다가 저희를 보고 좀 기다려주신 거 같았어요.
본의 아니게 여독을 풀 수 있어서 정말 감사했습니다.
목욕가운, 룸슬리퍼 다 비치되어 있어서 완전 편했어요.
그리고 carte D hote라고 샤모니 인근 지역 기차, 버스 이용할 수 있는 티켓을 주는데 은근 활용하기 좋습니다. 저는 이거 받고 발로신 지방 col de balme로 TER 타고 하이킹 하러 다녀왔어요!
직원들 진-짜 친절하고 강추강추하는 호텔이예요.

The hotel location is perfect! Close to everything and yet is a quieter part of all the actions. The suite is big for family of 4, clean, and breakfast is really good. only downside no a/c that’s because usually they don’t get too hot in the summer.

The hotel location is in the center and you don’t need a car in Chamonix. The parking is so expensive they charged me 20 euro per night. The staff is so friendly especially Matilda, Daniella and Louies. They are so nice and welcoming. Last things I want to say is do not eat in the hotel restaurant if it is not free with your reservation because the food is not that good.

It's my first time stay at this hotel, even though I come to Chamonix many time. The location is good, the room is good. The hotel staff and restaurant staff are very nice and helpful.

Great location downtown Chamonix close to the gondola that will take you up for great views of Mont Blanc and the valley beneath. The room was in fine condition and clean. Unfortunately we arrived the day when it was 33 Celsius and the room had no air conditioning. We experienced lots of street noise from parties outside our open window. The hotel had both underground and outdoor parking for a charge. It is close to restaurants and walkable.

We have been to a few different hotels in Chamonix and this is definitely the best! The staff are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean so we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Our stay was really great – and I owe it almost entirely to the staff at this hotel. Weeks before we even got there their excellent customer service was shining through. We were going to celebrate our 25th anniversary while visiting and were trying to make a restaurant booking. I can’t even tell you how many emails went back and forth to make this happen (this time of year some restaurants were still not open). Upon arrival, the man who checked us in remembered that we had still not resolved it, and asked if he could make the booking for us. They told the restaurant that it was our anniversary which resulted in being recognized with music and sparklers after we ate. Another way that the staff went above and beyond was in regards to our laundry: we had just come from an 8 day cruise and desperately needed to do laundry. The first morning, we went to the laundromat around the corner and they were closed for renovations. When we came back to the hotel and told them our dilemma, they told us to leave the laundry with them and they would figure out a way to have it done for us. I’m not sure who did our laundry, but a few hours later, someone delivered it to our room washed and folded. When we were debating whether to go to the Aiguille du Midi, they watched the weather for us, and gave advice when to go up. Right there in their lobby there’s a machine where you can buy tickets! Daniela even helped me with this. When we returned, they were so excited that we’d had nice weather. Daniela and another young lady (Mathilde?) just always went above and beyond to be kind and help us with all our needs. Now on to the other aspects we liked about the hotel: it's perfectly situated in Chamonix. We had beautiful views of Mont Blanc. The windows block a ton of sound. Even if you need to open the window, we weren’t too disturbed by street noise. The hotel is within a block of many restaurants. In addition, the city center is just a 5 minute walk away. The train station is less than 10 minutes walking (where you can catch the train to Montenvers, too). The Flixbus stop was even closer than that. Aiguille du Midi was less than a 5 minute walk. We got a good deal on breakfast when we booked our room, and I’m so glad we did. It was wonderful. Tons of fresh bread and pastries, meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurts, juices, etc. And they will make you espresso drinks for free. They also offer omelets at a small cost. We took advantage of the free spa areas and had them to ourselves! The pool was pretty and we had it to ourselves. My husband loved the steam room. When we left, they gave us a gift of dark chocolate and it was DELICIOUS! A nice little parting gift.|If we ever find ourselves in Chamonix, we would stay here again!

A lot of potential for 5-stars if some simple improvements were made. For reference, I've stayed in >100 hotels around the world (16 countries) of different star-ratings and I don't write reviews for most of them except when I feel there are many opportunities for improvement.

Pros:

- great views (Prestige Suite)
- hotel staff is kind
- room spaciousness
- coffee is really good
- sauna
- parking available (for an extra fee)

Cons:
- internet (5th floor) is not fast enough for video conferencing (I work remotely)
- steam room (hammam) doesn't get hot enough
- no hot tub as advertised in some places / pool water is heated but barely warm
- mattress is uncomfortable (two smaller beds combined)
- pillows and cushions for bed, sofa, and chairs are are low quality
- no outdoor cushions for outdoor seating
- balcony has doors/windows facing it from adjacent suite that do not offer full privacy
- art/deco has lots of dings/scratches
- massage has to be booked >24hrs in advance (I get massages when my body needs them—not when I think I'm going to need them)
- elevator and hotel floors are covered in really old stained carpet
- Bathroom (see below):
--mirror is very dark and looks like it has a screen/camera in/behind it
--towel hooks are only next to the bathtub, not the shower
--bathtub is barely large enough for one person
--bathtub has shower wand with slide bar designed for a shower—get ready to spray water all over your bathroom floor
--bathtub soap dispensers and shower wand are placed opposite side of headrest (not within reach)
--the dual sink soak dispenser is placed on one side, not in the middle of both faucets
--shower has double swinging doors (you'll always get water on you/the floor when turning it on)

Additional comment:
- it would be nice if there was a yoga mat in the room

Très bel hôtel, si ce n'est l'espace spa qui serait complètement à rénover (pas digne d'un 4 étoiles, n'y aller pas spécialement pour l'espace bien être!)

Nous avons été très bien accueilli, le petit déjeuner est top, la literie confortable, les chambres jolies le personnel très à l'écoute.

Second time staying here (last time was Aug 2022) really enjoyed the restaurant and location so i booked here again for a 3-night stay.

The only problems i've had with this hotel were 1) key never works, 4 days here updated keys 4 times, and 2) wifi is non-existent. This is crucial to me as i am a work-from-home traveler and my French eSIM does not allow wifi tethering.

Onto the good: I booked a junior suite overlooking the strip and mountain. The bed and bedding are superb. Had great night sleep everyday (jetlag too). Sofa is firm and comfy to sit on waiting chilling. A small coffee table in the room with a mini fridge i converted it to my work desk. The essentials did the trick for me but room could use a bit update especially the rug/carpet. Overall love this hotel as there's a nice full service bar/lounge and restaurant right downstairs.

Parking is €15 a night. Cocktails and food are excellent.

Service from front desk though could be hit and miss depending on staff's personality that often comes off the typical "rude and nonchalant French attitude" so dont expect too much outta it but they do get things done for you. Female staff at the reception was more helpful overall.

"Expérience décevante dans cet hôtel. Chambre exiguë, déjeuner de qualité médiocre et bruit de rue incessant malgré le prix élevé. À éviter absolument pour ceux qui recherchent le confort et la tranquillité." Petit déjeuner avec œufs infects et froid.
"Suite" soit disant mais chambre standard avec salle de bain minuscule...
Bref LAMENTABLE

This is the worst experience of a ski hotel I’ve ever had.

1) the key from the room doesn’t work and we are going to reception EVERY time when we need to go to the room! Every!
2) wifi doesn’t work ! I need wifi to make important work calls and I can’t!
3) there is no vegetables at the breakfast, the hotel is not vegetarian friendly
4) there is no shampoo and balsam for hair in the room - only 2 in 1 the cheapest body and hair wash
5) at the reception the staff is not friendly and not helpful

Unforgetable the view of the Mont Blanc when you wake up in the morning.
