Enjoying all the charms of Chamonix, of a splendid nature wherever you look, without the disadvantages of a crowded city centre in season, this is what has been proposed for more than a hundred years - the establishment of the Atesia family celebrated its centenary in 2008 with the 5 th generation of hotels - the Needle du Midi. A historic, very flowery hotel where all activities are possible, both summer and winter, thanks to the facilities (swimming pool, tennis court, spa…), but also thanks to free shuttles that take us to the slopes and other leisure areas. The rooms, part of which are renovated each year, are wood-clad, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The restaurant is a perfect place to stay in the restaurant, which is held by a chef of the good seasonal products provided by his garden. On the terrace or in a room mixing the natural materials, we discover a kitchen where modernity and tradition are good with a noble lobster or a creamy fondue, served in the garden, without forgetting the farandole of the delicious buffet. The Aiguille du Midi, a Smart Summit not to be missed.

The team was incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating, especially considering the numerous questions we bombarded them with daily. Their patience was greatly appreciated.
However, there are a couple of noteworthy points: Firstly, the room layout was quite unusual for me, with a separate toilet from the bathroom. The inconvenience arose from having to wash hands in the bathroom after using the toilet. Additionally, there seemed to be a sewage issue, as there was a persistent unpleasant smell in the elevator.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would certainly consider staying here again on our next visit to Chamonix.
Lastly, I must mention the restaurant, where we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Every dish was delicious and thoroughly enjoyable.
