Just before the Alpine photo shop dedicated to the Tairraz family, an impasse draws our attention. Le Blue. Funny name for an antique shop specialising in mountain furniture. It does not prevent: Virginie Philippe, who holds shop, knows his profession. The héritière of great mountain photographers Tairraz neglected the black family rooms but forgot to forget its roots: large cupboards, fine oak buffets, clarines, old piolets and other chamois chandeliers bring us straight back to the th century Savoy. Mountain furniture with a history and a sensation in a living. The only drawback is: provide more space in the car than for the cup "I love Chamonix" bought the day before. 

The workshop store offers more than a nice souvenir of local craftsmanship: the sound of the mountains! For 6 generations, the Devouassoud family has been making clarines, s'nailles, bells... pretty bells and bell rings that are proudly worn by cows in the Alps and elsewhere. All the bells bear the family stamp since 1829. Ancestral manufacturing for bells stamped, forged, closed and riveted in the workshop, and covered with brass or copper in the oven.
