A family association, founded in 1960, the Adapei de la Drôme welcomes children or adults with an intellectual disability. With its 900 adherents, it forms a great movement of hope and solidarity. By affiliation with the Unapei, it is recognized as a public utility. As a family association of parents and friends of disabled people, it conducts actions to promote the dignity of different people by giving them a more pleasant life, ensuring their personal development, their social, school and professional integration. In order to do this, it manages 40 establishments in the department of Drôme, particularly in the valentinoise agglomeration, medico-pedagogical institutes, shelters or work centres (ESAT).
