The estate was created in 1978 by Aimée and André Mazurd, the parents of the current owner, but the Mazurd family has lived off the vine for four generations. It covers 118 hectares in the Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appellations, and even in the Rasteau appellation, spread over different communes and different terroirs, which allows for a parcel-by-parcel selection and the production of typical wines. Good red wines aged in oak barrels. It is possible to visit the cellars on reservation.

Je prends mon vin depuis une vingtaine d'année au domaine Mazurd, par correspondance, ou par de amis qui me livrent. Ce 31 mai, très heureux de faire découvrir cette cave à mes huit amis, nous nous y rendons le coeur joyeux, et là, douche froide, un acceuil des plus antipathique qui soit. Pas un sourire, pas de proposition de dégustation, il était clair que l'on dérangeait ....grosse déception pour moi, vite oubliée car nous avons découvert dans ce même village, l'équivalent en vins et des vignerons très chaleureux, aimables et courtois.... passer votre chemin et cherchez un peu plus loin vous ne serez pas déçus

J'ai demandé poliment au domaine Mazurd de me désabonner pour raison écologique de leur pub papier. Ils m'ont répondu de manière irrespectueuse.
Je pense que l'intelligence ne doit pas se transmettre de génération en génération!

When I have my surprisingly him on this refusal to sell to the bottle, it by the high horse one vociferating " it has the right perfectly of it, does what he wants at home and it even refused to sell on a fair to a guest for loan from €8000 of wines and that it would have torn him the purchase order. It was not a €8000 near because it sold at the export" It even made escape a dad who wait with his son to buy. In conclusion, an unpleasant welcome, a negative answer to sell and a forced sale spoil the pleasure of discovering wines from the local. Cellar to be avoided.
