The Cave coopérative de Tain is a benchmark for pleasure and oenology. Established since 1933, at the foot of the famous Hermitage hill, the Cave de Tain, leading producer of the northern crus (Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas and Saint-Péray), has been awarded the Vignobles et Découvertes and Vignerons engagés labels. Its wines, which respect terroirs and biodiversity, are recognized the world over for their excellence. On-site advice and tasting. A second Cave de Tain boutique has opened opposite La Cité du Chocolat.

Owner's Message
The Cave de Tain was founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche.
Successive generations have made the company grow and today, thanks to the know-how of its winemakers, it is the main producer of northern wines in the Hermitage, Crozes Hermitage, Saint Joseph, Cornas and Saint Péray appellations.
The Cave de Tain also owns estates in Crozes Hermitage, Cornas, Saint Péray, and especially 21 hectares in the prestigious Hermitage appellation, which it took over from its founder.

Un grand choix de vins. Une dégustation et accueil bien agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique et agréable.

Sono stato alla cave de tain diverse volte. Compro i loro vini che trovo discreti. L’ultima visita ad agosto però lo trovata un pò fuori luogo. Un incaricato che non sa di cosa parla, che mi dice che la degustazione può essere troppo per me, che loro hanno tanti vini e che quindi io devo dirgli il nome esatto dei due vini che vorrei degustare. Incapacita e maleducazione che mi hanno portato ad andar via senza comprare nulla.
