It is one of the three gates of the Nordic domain of the Haut Vercors. 8 km from the villages of Saint-Martin and Saint-Julien-en-Vercors, the Nordic site of the Herbouilly plateau is linked to the Hauts Plateaux on the Isère side (Corrençon-en-Vercors) and Bois-Barbu (Villard-de-Lans) by 130 km of ski runs. Thus, Herbouilly is part of an exceptional Nordic site which reveals striking landscapes with a Scandinavian atmosphere. Loops of 3 to 30 km are suitable for snowshoeing. There is also a two-level sledge run and "Pistatou", 800 metres of multi-discipline runs. Dog sled rides are possible in Saint-Martin-en-Vercors. In summer, the site changes its appearance and it is the door open to hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding and even the possibility of a via corda on the cliff.
