Grihète takes its name from grihet, the Provencal word for cricket. It has been brewed in Nyons since 2001 at Brasserie Artisanale du Sud, a pioneer of regional microbrewing. Our craft beers are pure malt, with no added coloring, sugar or additives, unpasteurized and fermented on fresh yeast, then kept cold. This organic estate has been in the same family for 4 generations. In the heart of the Drôme Provençale, it combines the cultivation of vines and olive trees. Jean-Marc and Guillaume Rocheville manage a vineyard of 11 ha, harvest by hand and vinify their production. The Rocheville family proposes the discovery of its vineyard, its olive grove and its orchards, through a Rando terroir discovery trail accessible to all.
