OLD SAINTE-FOY CHURCH
Desecrated church at the top of the village with a breathtaking view of the Rhone valley, hosting exhibitions and concerts.
A historic monument, this 12th-century church, now desacralized, is a marvel of Romanesque architecture. At the top of the village, it offers a breathtaking view of the Rhône Valley. In the 19th century, it was abandoned in favor of the new church below. Painter André Lhote and vulcanologist Haroun Tazieff, the village's former mayor, worked to save and restore this jewel. The old church now hosts exhibitions and shows.
