The Morin family has been in the chocolate business since 1884. But the history of the family business has been built up over the generations through several revolutions. The creation of the family business in 1958, first by André Morin, then by his son Jean-François, to offer a product of impeccable quality. The best way to do this was not only to select the very best cocoa trees, but also to grow our own fruit trees. Today, Jean-François' son Franck continues this tradition of excellence.

Open from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.. Exhibition of old machines and a collection of chocolate molds and porcelain of the time.

For the Morins, chocolate is a family affair.
The chocolate factory is located on the family estate, nestled in the heart of orchards and lavender fields in the village of Donzère, in the South of France. The profession of chocolate making has been passed down from father to son for four generations, and thanks to this shared, intergenerational passion, Chocolaterie A. Morin is fortunate to enjoy a particular craft knowledge.
Selected with the greatest care, tasted and approved, the cocoa beans are then sent to Donzère, in the workshops of the Chocolaterie A. Morin, where they are roasted. Morin, where they are roasted, crushed and conched. This is the process known as "From bean to chocolate", or more commonly "bean to bar".
The particular work of these beans, fruit of an ancestral knowledge, and the attentive follow-up of all these stages, make it possible to obtain the best of the cocoa and confer to the chocolate of the Chocolaterie A. Morin's chocolate the richness and finesse for which it is known.
Combined with local products from the Drôme Provençale - almonds from Provence, hazelnuts from Provence and Morello cherries from their orchards - Morin chocolate is used to elaborate a wide range of specialties able to seduce the most demanding amateurs.
Made to order in order to preserve taste and aroma, some thirty confectionery references are sold directly to individuals, on site and by mail order, in France and abroad.
