With its marvellous world open on 5,500 m2 in Bourg-lès-Valence, the mischievous Merlin has done the best magic trick of the century: to relieve for a few hours the Drôme parents exhausted by the overflowing energy of their offspring. In this playground half-covered half open air, toddlers can snort, jump, slide, crawl, scream, in complete freedom. In the magic lagoon, children under 4 years old have access to giant Lego, ball pools and safe trampolines. For the older children, a huge modular game deploys giant slides, suspension bridges, boxing bags, cannons, tunnels, climbing towers, etc. And for the most daring, a 5.5 metre high plastic sheet volcano is to be climbed by running or rock-climbing. It's almost like Koh-Lanta! As a result, the kids love it, and so do we. Of course, we could have taken advantage of the moment to rest on one of the large cushions at our disposal, sip a fruit juice at a table upstairs or surf thanks to the free wifi, but we preferred to use our right to climb on the games even if it meant finishing ground. Just to remember that in Merlin's World, being a kid is cool and being a parent is even better!
