JOSEPH BESSET SPACE

Founded by the Vanaude association in 1980, the museum illustrates the transition from the traditional craft of wheelwrighting to the industrial technique of coachbuilding. Expanded in 2007, the museum now boasts two exhibition areas housing a complete collection of vehicles. Exhibition rooms and video projections show the story of Joseph Besset, apprentice wheelwright turned coachbuilder, through a reconstructed workshop, an exhibition of models and a ten-minute film.
